Cookie Notice — Fluxen Frame Insights
A complete inventory of everything this site stores — there is exactly one item.
The honest legal position
Taiwan currently has no dedicated statute governing cookie consent on ordinary websites. The banner you see on this site is therefore this publication’s own practice, chosen for transparency — not a compliance with a Taiwanese legal mandate, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What the law does care about, and what the Privacy Notice covers, is what personal data inquiry handling touches and why.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of text a website can keep in your browser. Traditionally they track sessions, preferences and — on many sites — advertising. On this site they do very little, because the site itself does very little: articles are static pages, the only form posts to the same domain, and nothing third-party runs anywhere.
The complete inventory
Everything this site stores on your device, with nothing withheld:
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
fluxenframe-consent | localStorage entry | remembers whether you closed the cookie banner with Accept or Reject, so it stays closed | kept until you change your choice or clear your browser’s site data | this site (first-party, fluxenframe.digital) |
That is the entire table. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no session cookies, no third-party storage — because none of those technologies run here.
No analytics or third-party tracking runs on this site
That sentence is not a promise about intentions; it is a description of the code. No scripts measure your visit, no pixels report to advertisers, and the site loads its fonts, images, styles and scripts from its own domain only.
What Accept and Reject each mean
Accept records that you are content with the storage described above. Reject records the same storage refusal — it still writes the one preference entry, which is the only way a browser lets a site remember your “no.” Neither choice changes how the articles behave, and rejecting will never restrict content or functionality on this site. The banner exists so that the site’s only stored value is one you knowingly set.
If you would rather the entry not exist at all, clear the site’s data in your browser settings at any time; the banner will simply appear again on your next visit, since a closed banner is only observable from the entry itself.
Managing your choice
- To reopen the banner, use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page, which raises the banner again with both buttons.
- To erase the entry entirely, use your browser’s “clear site data” or “delete cookies and site data” function for fluxenframe.digital.
If the browser is set to block storage, the banner still appears and its buttons still close it for the current visit; the preference simply will not survive across visits.
